RF638 Instruction

 

RF638 series of LI-ION rechargeable portable battery pack is a high efficient standby power bank with super-thin, lightness, high capacity and etc. Charges by adapter which passes the safety certification in most of countries and complies with AC power in all over the world, the battery pack have a standard USB voltage output terminal and a DC output terminal with four voltage levels converted by means of voltage switch button. There is also an output cable with a set of tips which applies to thousands of laptops available in market; it can also charge PDA, digital camera & camcorder, cell phone etc, very easy to use.

 . Function Instruction

 

3.1 Capacity indicated by four LED lightsStatus at below

  Indicates on status,  indicates off status.

 

 

Press capacity indicating button to check remaining capacity, capacity is less than 25% if LED1 flickers, the battery need to be charged. During charging the battery, LED will be on with the capacity increasing. It means battery is going to be full charged that all 4 LED lights turn on. After full charged, 4 LED lights will be off, and please pull out the plug to finish charge.

 

.2 Voltage Shift:

Voltage shifting relies on voltage switch button to achieve, and indicates by 4 LED lights, Status as following:

Default output voltage is 12V, switch to other voltage by the following means:

A.   Pull out all the output cable including charge and discharge output

B.  Press voltage switch button for 2-3 seconds, power indicator will turn to next voltage, do it again for following voltage until get the voltage users need.

C.  Connect the output cable for work.

Attention: Voltage shifts would be done when all outputs are cut off, voltage switch order is at below:

 3.5 USB Output Terminal Control

 

For avoiding auto self-discharge, USB output terminal adopts a controllable design. Under default status, no output at USB discharge terminal; after press voltage shift button for 1s so that output voltage indicator LED will flicker slowly, cycle time is 4-5s, USB output terminal starts voltage output. If want to stop use, shortly press voltage shift button again for 1 second, output indicator LED stop flicker, and USB output is cut off

3.6 Dormant Status

 

The battery  pack will come into dormant status automatically if long time no use (20S-30S, voltage indicator LED is off, no voltage output at output connect terminal, voltage will start output again after awake the battery by pressing voltage shift button.

 * Note: Following the below to make battery into dormant status

A. Cut off 5VUSB output

B. Pull out discharge output DC cable

 

3.7 Charge Status

 

While charging the battery, please follow the steps at below:

A. Pull out discharge output DC cable and USB output cable.

B. Insert adapter DC to battery DC input terminal, four voltage LED lights will flow on.

After 10-20s, capacity indicator LED will light and battery is in charging status.

 

*Note:

1. Possible reasons for no light on at capacity LED if 20s later after insert adapter:

A. Power bank is in dormant status, press voltage shift button to awake it, voltage indicator LED will flow on from one to another.

B. Power bank or the adapter is destroyed

2. During charging the battery, voltage indicator will be off if pulling out the adapter, capacity indicator LED will not be off at once but after 20s.

 

. Attention

    4.1.0 Output will be cut off if capacity is over low, all LED will not light and the battery need to be charged ASAP.

4.1.1 The output power of the battery is 65W, so it could be used for any laptop, which’s nominal power is below 60W. Whereas the current exceeding Max. 4A is prohibited.

4.1.2 To prolong the battery life and protect its charger, discharging is not allowed as it is charging.

4.1.3 Don’t put the battery or the parts in any liquid or in dank environment.

 4.1.4 Don’t put the battery in extremely hot or cold environment.

4.1.5 Please charge the battery with the compatible adapter.

4.1.6 Please discharge fully and then charge fully at the first time to use.

4.1.7 Please charge and discharge 1-2 times if store the battery over 3 months, please full charge the battery and make sure it is in dormant status if long time no use.

4.1.8 Don’t try to open or repair the battery. If open it, the inside circuit setting may be destroyed.

4.1.9 Dont have to cause battery to short-circuit, otherwise will make the battery over-heat, explode etc.

4.2.0 Do not stress the battery surface for avoiding the breakage of appearance and electric performance.

4.2.1 Do not knock, chuck, drop or do any beat action on the battery.

4.2.2 Please stop to use the battery if there is electric function problem, or battery destroyed, such as electrolyte leaks or reek with electrolyte smell. Keep it away from fire to avoid fire and exploding.

4.2.3 Once electrolyte leaks and touch the skin, eye, or the other part of body, please clean immediately by water and see the doctor.

4.2.4 Dont put it into water or fire. Please deliver the wasted battery to battery recycle bin to dispose.
